Tested Browsers
We have collected the oddities we discovered when using different browsers (and extensions) with this site.
All browsers
- The back button does not work as expected when looking at a personal record and then eg. on a pedigree. When clicking the back button it would be logical
to come back to personal record but instead the home page pops up. This is because the various tabs in the family database load content to the page using AJAX
calls and these are not noted in the history of the back button.
Chrome
Mozilla / Firefox
- In the family diagram, the boxes for father / grandfather / grandmother will be unnecessarily large if the number of children is larger in width than
the father and mother parents' boxes are. The boxes for mother / grandfather / grandmother become OK in size.
Microsoft Edge
- If you look at a pdf file and then move the mouse pointer to the menu bar, the pdf window will be black and will not return if you
move down again.
